Instead of being protected, their humanitarian efforts are repeatedly obstructed by U.S. authorities, through unwarranted raids on aid camps, destruction of vital supplies, and unfounded criminal charges. 🚓🚨

As we well know, criminalising humanitarian workers and volunteers is a tactic used by border authorities to silence and intimidate. 🚧

🏛️ U.S. border authorities spent two years trying to send volunteer Scott Warren to prison, who faced a series of mistrials, finally ending in his acquittal. Another four NMM volunteers have also faced legal battles for their humanitarian provision, and were ultimately cleared.

Raids on aid camps have continued up to November last year, disrupting essential support for those in need. 🚫
