University of Roehampton (London, UK)

Free Humanitarians had the privilege of speaking with a group of Masters students from the University of Roehampton. With a legal background and hopes of pursuing a career in the humanitarian field, students wanted to discuss:

  1. How to protect themselves against criminal charges

  2. The process of extradition, if found guilty

We felt truly inspired by the courage of these students, who are already preparing for and confronting a reality where helping people on the move and standing up for human rights can lead to a prison sentence.
